How to test the AC three-phase motor?
1, shake the table, 500V can shake the table, shake the three terminals on the line of the motor shell insulation resistance value, should be above 0.5M Europe that there is no short circuit to the ground.
2, multimeter test: test A/B/C three phase resistance value, whether equal, should be about the same, too much difference can also turn, but not for A long time, remember the greater the motor, the smaller the resistance value! But can not all three Ohm, unless you are particularly large, such as more than 50KW motor. Remember that the 6 terminals of a speed-regulating motor have different resistance values.
3, check the bearing, fan, generally wrapped motor let all changed, because sometimes the bearing will also burn the motor.
4. The no-load current of the motor is generally 10% ~ 50% of the rated current, and sometimes the idle current of the motor is also zero.
5. When the rated current of the motor is running, it is running at full load and the output power is basically 100%. Running current is small, indicating that the motor output power is small, is light load operation.
How to test the AC single-phase motor?
Use 500V mehmmeter to measure the insulation resistance between the motor windings and the shell. It should not be less than 0.5 mehmms. Use multimeter to measure each lead wire of the winding.
Detect the quality of capacitor with pointer multimeter more convenient (there are also digital tables with capacitance files, can be directly measured).
Turn the multimeter to 1K or 10K resistance, measure the capacitor's 2 leads, the needle quickly deflects to the right and slowly returns to the left capacitor is good. Always biased to the right indicates that the capacitor is broken down. The pointer does not move, then the capacitor is internally broken or has no capacity. In this way only the capacitor is good or bad.
How to test the quality of DC motor?
First see whether there is a broken line, test resistance is normal.
If you have a brush DC motor, you can rotate the rotor and use a multimeter to measure whether the output DC is normal.
If it is a brushless DC motor and a three-phase lead, the rotor can be rotated and the output alternating voltage measured with a multimeter is normal.
The output voltage is proportional to the speed.
